Taiwan Beer recently unveiled a couple of new additions to its ever expanding product line. The new drinks are beer cocktails which combine mango or pineapple juice with the light tasting Taiwan beer.
The resulting beverage is a welcomed summer refreshment in Taiwan's ever-present summer heat and humidity. The sweet fruitiness of mangoes and pineapples combined with Taiwan Beer's consistent bitterness makes for a delicious combination.
My only complaint about the beers is that they are a tad on the sweet side and a little too low on alcohol (2.8% abv). I've discovered that this can be remedied and improved upon by mixing the fruit beer half and half with a Taiwan Gold Medal beer.
All in-all the new beers are a great way to cool off on hot summer Taiwan day.
