Goon: Economical, Convenient and Delicious?

During a trip to the East coast of Australia last year I was introduced, as many travelers are, to boxed wine.  I was told it was terrible stuff drank only by the homeless and backpackers and that I had best avoid it if I wanted to function the following day.

Places that had me saying "I could live here."

I have travelled to many wonderful cities and towns around the world and although great times were had in many of these places, few had me ready to pack up my life and move.  This highly subjective article is based on what works best for me and suites my own personal tastes.  Perhaps as a result of my Canadian upbringing, I have never had much of a tolerance for heat and humidity. I prefer a place with all four seasons ie. not tropical and additionally, I love cities.  Once again likely a product of my youth, I am near obsessed with the hustle and bustle of big city living.  I was raised in Vancouver, and while not the largest or most populous of cities, it has conditioned me in a way that I find small town and rural life to be an utter bore. The towering monoliths of city skylines are a delight to me and more often than not the best nightlife is found deep within a maze of downtown streets.  As much as I love nearly every aspect of Vancouver, my home, the following cities have made me consider leaving it all behind.

Saigon Sippin

Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, HCMC;   whichever name you choose to call it, this city serves up Vietnam's best bars and nightclubs. With growing population of 7,162,864, the local residents, ex pats, and tourists alike create a high-demand for nightlife, which Saigon does deliver.  I visited all of the following locales myself and I certainly plan to return to HCMC to explore more of the great bars, pubs and nightclubs on offer.
